TQL is one of the nation's largest transportation brokerage firms and we provide freight management services to clients all across North America. The Logistics Account Executive position is an inside sales/account management type role where you reach out to potential clients, build your own book of business, then manage your clients' shipments as you get orders. I'm looking for bright, motivated individuals who are skilled at building relationships!

 

The Position:  As a Sales Representative (Full-Time) within TQL, we’re the primary contact for both customers and freight carriers. Our strong work ethic and firm sense of commitment will drive to build our exclusive customer base from the ground up while ensuring customers receive smooth freight service from pick up to delivery. This is an elite position that combines sales, account management and day-to-day logistics duties all in the same role. Successful Sales Representatives are entrepreneurial, personable and driven for a rewarding career within a growing organization.

Responsibilities: 

•             Research industries and companies that move goods via semi-tractor trailers across the US, Canada and Mexico then prospect new business leads via cold calls on the phone

•             Make sales presentations to prospective customers over the phone and online

•             Negotiate shipping rates with customers and carriers over the phone and online; manage daily shipping schedules and dispatch trucks for freight pickup

•             Maintain regular contact with customers to build and retain effective relationships and provide effective solutions to problems
