Position Title: Carrier Sales Representative

Position Summary:

 

Carrier Sales Representatives at CargoBarn are responsible for ensuring operational excellence on a daily basis. The success of our team depends on meeting the needs of two very important groups of people – customers and carriers. Our goal never changes; CargoBarn wants to achieve nothing short of perfection. As a Purchasing Manager, you’ll assist in leading the Company to find innovative logistics solutions while focusing on friendships and partnerships, not just business transactions.  Carrier Sales Representatives are expected to be consistently booking at least 100 loads per month by their sixth month of employment.

CargoBarn’s Inside Sales Representatives work to develop a book of business in a fast-paced industry. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for acquiring new business, building relationships and assessing how a partnership with CargoBarn meets a customer’s needs. 

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Convert prospects to customers by means of cold calling and emailing

  • Manage and maintain a profitable relationship with your accounts

  • Price and quote customer shipments

  • Track customer freight

  • Provide short-term and long-term solutions for customers supply chain needs

  • Problem resolution to the satisfaction of your customer and CargoBarn Inc.

  • Maintain database of qualified leads

  • Grow your book of business by $1,000 GP each month after training period ends
